Avery Briggs Counselling is a transgender and neurodivergent affirming
practice rooted in principles of peer support and harm reduction,
striving to create space for those who feel misunderstood by traditional mental health approaches.

About My Practice

My priority lies in helping trans folks (and those who love them) explore, grow, and thrive. I welcome individuals, couples, and relationships of all shapes and sizes interested in exploring topics such as relational dynamics, gender and sexuality, non-monogamy, life transitions, living with trauma, family conflict, peer relationships, and low-self-esteem.

Our work together is built on the belief that healing and growth are relational; my role is to support your access to the wisdom and knowledge you already possess to navigate your path to greater well-being. My approach to therapy combines elements of storytelling, attachment theory, parts work, and solutions-focused conversations to address the intersections and nuance of your lived experience.
